New Turbo Fuser Designed for Spot Cooling Applications. New to Titus - TurboFuser™ is a versatile high capacity diffuser engineered for demanding HVAC applications requiring spot cooling in industrial or large scale open areas. The TurboFuser™ is an aesthetic alternative to conventional air distribution — providing a contemporary look for sports complexes, atriums, lobbies and manufacturing plants. The TurboFuser’s™ heavy-duty construction is composed of rigid heavy-gauge welded margins with reinforced mitered corners. Available in all-aluminum or steel with deep deflection rings in each nozzle for airflow control – up to 30o in any direction. Each nozzle pivots with tension to maintain unlimited deflection settings at rated airflows, providing long throws at less pressure. New TQS IAQ Inlet with Aero CrossTM Flow Sensor. The TQS with IAQ inlet is the only fresh air fan box on the market that does not use an “add-on” terminal to the standard fan box to supply the outside air. This allows the TQS with IAQ inlet to have superior mixing characteristics while maintaining the same footprint as the standard TQS. The secondary IAQ inlet is provided with all the features as the primary inlet, such as the damper and AeroCross™ flow sensor. The Titus AeroCross™ is a multi-point center averaging flow sensor. The AeroCross™ sets the standard for amplification, with performance ranging from 1.7 to 2.9, depending upon the inlet size. The AeroCross™ has less inlet sensitivity than any flow probe on the market, with no more than +/-5% error regardless of inlet condition. Zone Controlled Comfort Made Simple With the introduction of the new Titus Zone Manager, the Zcom continues its evolution towards the variable air volume solution of choice for the smaller building market. The Zone Manager, in combination with a network of Zcom diffusers, provides a fully integrated VAV system solution offering individual zone comfort control with an easy and fast installation. The Zone Manager is applied as a direct replacement for a standard thermostat, requiring no additional integration with packaged HVAC equipment. The Zone Manager "polls" Zcom diffusers in each zone via a DDC network and computes the required mode of HVAC system operation based upon zone temperatures and demand. The Zone Manager also provides simple time-of-day programming, monitoring of damper position, duct pressure, and outside air temperature values for adaptive start routines. Zone Manager systems can also be monitored and adjusted remotely via modem. The popular Zcom DDC diffuser combines temperature sensing, energy-saving VAV control and superior air distribution in one device. Advanced DDC control logic and standard two-way RS-485 communication allows the occupant to monitor and adjust comfort setpoints with a hand-held remote, a wall mounted adjuster, or a graphic software interface. |

Titus Expands Access Floor Air Distribution Line Titus' access floor product line was recently expanded with the addition of the TAF-V and TAF-D plenum diffusers and the LHK fan powered terminal. The TAF-V heavy-duty floor grille includes an actuator and damper assembly that opens on demand to supply additional cooling from ducted or non-ducted systems, and is ideal for conference rooms and other areas with highly variable loads. Also available is the TAF-D, without damper assembly, for use in return and constant volume perimeter applications. The new LHK fan powered terminal is the perfect solution for perimeter zones or other areas requiring additional cooling or a separate heating treatment. Available with electric or hot water heat, the LHK fits neatly between standard access floor pedestals, below floors only 12" deep. This unique design provides the engineer with a range of new comfort solutions for raised floor construction. With an airflow range of 300 to 900 cfm, the LHK can be easily adapted to meet a variety of zone comfort requirements. These products build upon the success of Titus' popular TAF-R and TAF-G products. The TAF-R supply diffusers' high-induction helical air pattern provides 100% mixing near floor level to ensure superior comfort in the occupied zone. The airflow from each TAF-R can be adjusted by the occupant for individual comfort, with the external open/close universal icon providing visual reference to airflow. The complementary TAF-G cable grommet allows a convenient cable routing alternative, and a homogeneous floor design. Both the TAF-V and TAF-G can be molded to match carpet color for total architectural flexibility. |
