Titus Announces Green Buildings

Titus Titus unveils new web page offering information covering ‘green’ buildings and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design™ (LEED™) information. Titus knows an HVAC system plays an important role in achieving healthy buildings to work in and recognizes the LEED Credits relating specifically to HVAC are underutilized. The new web page and its adjacent links can be beneficial to help HVAC experts help achieve the LEED Credits relating to our industry.

The Titus & LEED page offers links to the following pages within the Titus website:

• LEED and Green Buildings. Brief discussion how Titus fits into green buildings with links to all of the other green building sections.
• LEED Credits Achieved. Provides table showing achieved LEED Credits and discussion how few HVAC credits are achieved for LEED certified buildings and how Titus can help engineers and building owners achieve these credits.
• Titus Product and Manufacturing Plants. Map of the Titus plant locations showing approximate 500-mile radius for the LEED Regional Material credit, plus a list of Titus products by plant. These two items will assist engineers in selecting products and aid in achieving LEED Regional Material credit.
