Titus announces a technology alliance with Rickard Air of South Africa. This alliance will provide Titus with a complete and competitively superior variable geometry product offering.

Starting off as a small distributor of fans and air-conditioning supplies, Rickard Air Diffusion has steadily grown and diversified its product range. 25 years later, Rickard Air Diffusion has established itself locally and abroad as a supplier of homegrown, quality Variable Air Volume equipment. By always innovating and streamlining its VAV product range, Rickard Air Diffusion has maintained itself as a competitive force. Today Rickard Air Diffusion offers cutting edge Modular Electronic Controls and Thermally Powered Actuators for individual comfort control.

The individual comfort control market has been growing over the last couple of years with the growing interest in environmentally friendly “green” buildings and on improving employee productivity, and therefore profitability, by providing a comfortable work environment.

Through negotiations, we have secured an exclusive, long term agreement between Titus and Rickard Air which we see as being beneficial for both companies.”

Titus will utilize the proven component technology of Rickard Air and integrate it across multiple products in the current Titus offering. These products will be shipped from the Tarboro, NC facility. The product schedule calls for constant volume diffusers by October and thermally and electronically controlled diffusers by year-end.
