TEAMS: Frequently Asked Questions
General Troubleshooting: If you should have program errors, perform these two steps:
- Download and run the repair file Teams Repair File.exe to re-install and re-register all required drivers. (Takes 5 minutes)
- Make sure you are using TEAMS 6.0 and have performed a recent “Update Via the Internet”. To update, select Start>Programs>Titus Teams>Update TEAMS via the Internet.
- If Teams does not open but has a button on the task bar right-click on the Teams Icon in Start-Menu to select Properties. In the properties window that opens click on the Shortcut tab to select from the Run dropdown list Maximized. The next time you open Teams it will open full screen.

A: TEAMS applies correction factors to compensate for the lower density of air at high altitudes. This affects the sizing of fan boxes and the heat transfer calculations of reheat coils, both water and electric.
MAR-2005
A: This problem has been largely eliminated in version 4.9 and following. If the problem
is not solved by updating your Teams software, download and run the file
Teams Repair File.exe.

A: In one instance, this problem was occurring because of the text in the Room field.
The user had entered "Driver's Breakroom". The program does not allow apostrophes in text
fields. Remove the apostrophe from the Room field and the product should add to the schedule
without any errors.
A: This is an issue with Windows XP. Most of the time it is caused by the use of a wireless keyboard. TEAMS 4.9 contains a minor program change to minimize occurrences. Other users find that changing their regional settings in XP to English US solves the problem.
1. Try using a different keyboard, preferably not wireless.
2. Make sure that Regional Settings are set to “English US”.

In every instance we have tested, this new service pack from Adobe fixes the problem.
A: There are two DLL files (drivers) included with TEAMS that may cause this message
to occur on some Windows 2000 or XP operating systems upon installation. The DLLs are
ctl3d32.dll and vbajet32.dll, both located in the C:\winnt\system32\ directory. Based
on our testing, the DLLs are the exact same version number as the DLLs included with
Windows 2000. However, their dates may be different, which causes the warning message
to appear. While the pop-up message sounds ominous, no known instability occurs if you
ignore the warning and press CANCEL. However, if you prefer to be absolutely sure no other
applications will be affected, you may re-install these DLLs by following the Windows prompts
after the warning message, and inserting your Windows 2000 CD. The TEAMS program will still
install and run properly either way.
